EIWO has been successfully managing properties in southern Ontario for more than 50 years. Incorporated in 1973 to professionally manage the apartment buildings that were built by our two founding German families, the name was chosen to correspond with their company in Germany – a company known for building quality homes since the early 1960s. The name is an abbreviation of the German name “Eigenheim- und Wohnungsbau” which translates to “a builder of residential family homes”.

From its base in Kitchener, Ontario, EIWO now manages thousands of residential units in buildings ranging in size from 5 to 250 units, along with office and industrial properties. Retail holdings under management range from strip plazas to multi-tenanted enclosed shopping malls.
